Excelllleeenttttt picture. The one trooper in the middle looks like he intends on hitting the ground running. Must feel pretty friggin awesome to be in the air with so many other paratroopers eh?

Ya , t must be the feeling to be descending like that with all your buds in site, doing the same and hoping for a great landing..  was never a jumper, even tho Sgt Maj WallyTurple RIP, thought id make a good one, but have been told by several jumpers . that every jump gets a bit harder.. is that so? what do you real jumpers and ex jumpers say about that?? rong

Mike : The guy " Running " is actually trying to get untangled, because if he doesn't hurry up he will be corkscewing into the
        ground , which hurts !

I was wondering as everybody was pretty well adopting the same position. What does the running do as far as untanglement goes?  Make you go round in circles and how to you control which way you go? Damn, I was set when i left Baden, posted to 3cdo... till I screwed up my back during an alert by handing a assembled 50 to the lads on the track. It was raining and crappy out and the dude on the receiver slipped out of buddies hands. I caught it but went over backwards... freaking thing near killed me! Took months to recover and, as such, i was in no shape to go ont he Jump course that was schedule a few weeks later. C'est le Vive.

Rong; It took me 15 before i opened my eyes ! Then everthing was cool for the next 10, then something happens , like hitting the side of the aircraft, or doing a feet, ass and head landing. But once you put the parachute on --- There's NO TURNING BACK !  Plus pain
is temporary, The Maroon Beret is Forever !   Pro Patria !

Mike ; The guy is tangled from the back of his neck up ! He can't even lift his head up ! So he has his hands behind his head tring to separate the 2 risers and by kicking his feet this helps to untangle him.
