Canadian Troops from Hotel Company and supporting elements from the 2nd Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment Battle Group move in and occupy Forward Operating Base Ghundi Gar as part of OP HADRIAN. 2 RCR BG is part of the Joint Task Force Afghanistan.

That is one of the South African bomb proof patrol vehicles. You will recall that this replced the G wagon which in turn replaced the iltis.

Thanks Mike, i go back to the days where we had the Jeep ..i do recall the American referring to the Iltis as the "toy" , they just threw them away, like broken toys..funny how a bomb proof vehicle would come out of S Africa.. rong

Oddly enough, the bomb resistant design of the Nylha was created to counter anti aparthied based terrorism prior to the end of the Botha rule in SA.
